About Us

Wondering who we are and what we offer?

At Live Oaks, we are on a mission to gather and mobilize people in, around and beyond The Villages with the transforming message of Jesus Christ. We are all different people but we are on the same path and we invite you to visit us to make a difference in the world today.

We feature relevant bible teaching and a blended worship style. Each week, our pastors take a portion of Scripture and seek to better understand both the original meaning and the modern day application that comes from the timeless and true Word of God.

We support each other as we face the challenges of our lives and the world. Are you looking for a special place to call home? Visit us this Sunday at 8:30 or 10:15 a.m.

No matter what your age, you fit into the Young Enough to Serve picture. Fifty or over? Serving isn’t limited to physically demanding projects. God wants us to have the heart of a servant and to use our available gifts and resources for Him. It may be as simple as picking up the phone to encourage a friend or grandchild. Or serving as a class grandparent in a local elementary school.

Meet Our Pastors

  • Senior Pastor Chris Holck

Pastor Chris Holck moved to The Villages in January of 2012 along with his wife, Kathleen to plant a new church. They joined one other couple and after a series of informational meetings, the first worship service was held in February 2012. It is not the first church planted by Pastor Chris but it is the first one specifically targeted for older adults. His skills and interests seem to be a perfect match for reaching the “Encore Generation” as he describes those who are in their second half of life, but not done yet. Chris is a visionary leader and an expository preacher who brings application to each sermon. His mission is to guide older adults into living a purposeful and balanced second half of life that honors God. “If you’re not dead, you’re not done!, says Pastor Chris. Learn More
