Women’s Ministry Presents: Cultivating… Joy – Thursday, March 5

Our special guest speaker is Sara R. Ward, author of Saved for Hope. Sara speaks from a wealth of personal experience and shares her wisdom through engaging storytelling and solid Biblical teaching. She is a wife and mom to three children, including a son who passed away from Leigh’s disease in 2012.  Sara has a master’s degree in Educational Psychology and is a staff writer for adoption.com.  She has been published in Focus on the Family magazine; the Today Show Parenting Team; and Homeschooling Today magazine. She also writes poetry and is an award-winning playwright. 

Cost for this event is $40.00 per person and includes fresh fruit, assorted juices, muffins, coffee and tea in the morning and a delicious full catered lunch.  For those requiring a Gluten Free lunch, please ensure the appropriate box has been checked when you register, so that we are aware prior to the event how many Gluten Free meals are needed.  

Payment/Registration envelopes labeled ReFresh: March 5, 2020, Cultivating Joy, are located in the kiosk and welcome areas at both the Woodridge and Southern Oaks locations. Please complete the information on the outside of the envelope, write ReFresh Event in the memo portion of your check, and place the check in the envelope. 
  
There are two locations to drop-off your envelope. A labeled Women’s Ministry drop-box is located at the Woodridge campus.  Southern Oaks members may leave their envelopes with Jane Moon at the welcome desk.
